For CCHT (Federally Mandated) Technicians
C-NET TESTING PROCEDURES DURING THE CURRENT COVID-19 OUTBREAK
*Temporary Test Suspension
In an effort to do our part in mitigating the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), C-NET and our test delivery partner, PSI, have temporarily suspended all testing throughout the United States and its territories.
*Deadlines and Testing Windows
Candidates currently scheduled to test will be allowed to reschedule with no penalty. In most cases, this can be done online without needing to contact our call center. All candidates currently holding a 90-day testing permit will be granted a free permit extensions (if required) as soon as our testing centers reopen. All candidates currently holding a semi-annually or quarterly testing permit will automatically be granted a free permit extensions to the next window.
*Current Testing for Essential Workers
Due to the morbidity rate of their patient population during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Department of Homeland Security has identified the
role of "Hemodialysis Technician" (whose certification is federally mandated) as essential under the Guidance On The Essential Critical
Infrastructure Workforce. As such, PSI has opened a number of testing locations for immediate CCHT testing.
*Customer Service, Fax and Postal Mail
Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, a mandatory Shelter in Place mandate has been enacted in our area. Until this mandate is lifted,
our phone, fax and mail service will be temporarily unavailable. Any applications sent by mail or fax will NOT BE PROCESSED until State and
local officials deem it safe for residents to return to their place of work. However, C-NET’s staff will continue answering emails sent to
between 9 AM and 5 PM EST Monday through Friday.
*Application by Email
At this time, C-NET will only process applications (and payments) that have been EMAILED to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applicants may either scan
their applications or use their cell phones to take pictures of their documents before emailing them to C-NET. Be sure to include a credit card
payment (VISA or MASTERCARD ONLY). Once an application has been APPROVED, C-NET will email an Acknowledgment Letter to the
candidate. Candidates who receive Acknowledgments Letters will automatically be emailed exam permits as soon as the testing centers reopen.
*CMS Update For ESRD Conditions for Coverage
The NNCC has announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has approved its request for ESRD Conditions for Coverage Waiver
regarding certification requirements.
