Requirements:

* Current NP State Licensure


* Collaborative agreement with a board-certified dermatologist (evidence of collaborative agreement will need to be provided with application)


* Master’s degree in nursing


* National certification as a nurse practitioner


* Minimum of 3,000 hours of general dermatology practice with current practice in dermatology (hours obtained from a formal dermatology NP academic program count towards the 3,000 hours)

Fees:

$300 for NP Society members & current DNC’s

$375 for non-NP Society members

$25 late fee for all applications postmarked after the deadline

* Current license as an RN in the United States, its territories, or Canada.
* Minimum of 2 years of plastic surgical nursing experience as an RN.
* Spend at least 50% of practice hours in plastic surgical nursing during 2 of the preceding 5 years.
* Be in compliance with state regulations of the practice of hemodialysis patient-care technicians, if applicable. Applicants must meet the experience requirement (for certification) of the state in which they practice.
