ANSC Eligibility Criteria
Be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the United States, its territories or Canada, holding a current full and unrestricted license.
Have spent at least 1,000 practice hours within the core specialties during the last two (2) years.
Have a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience as a registered nurse within the four Core Specialties in collaboration or in a practice with a physician that is board Certified within a core specialty. This can be in a general staff, administrative, teaching, or research capacity within three (3) years prior to application.
Be currently working in collaboration or in a practice with a physician that is Board Certified within one of the following specialties: Plastic/Aesthetic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, or Facial Plastic Surgery (ENT).
Have your supervising core physician, who holds a current full and unrestricted license, endorse your application.

Exam Dates & Deadlines:
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, standard procedures for exam dates and deadlines have been temporarily amended. Computer-based testing opened in April of 2021, and C-NET is accepting applications for this certification year-round. No deadlines or late fees shall apply for Computer-Based Testing.
Please allow an average of six weeks (from the time C-NET receives your application) for processing and review. Should C-NET require further information to complete its review of your submission, we will contact you using the email address provided on your application. When your application is approved, our testing partner PSI will send a link to your email address, allowing you to schedule an examination date online. Along with your link, you will be granted a 90-day testing window. You must both schedule and sit for your examination within the 90 days provided.
If you need to extend your testing window after scheduling your exam with PSI, you must do so by emailing our customer service desk at firstname.lastname@example.org. When requesting an extension, be sure to provide your name, the last four digits of your social security number, and the name of the test you are taking.
