Requirements
In order to recertify, one will need 60 points of credit as well as verification of a minimum of 2,000 hours (1 year) of addictions nursing experience as a registered nurse in a staff, administrative, teaching, consultation, private practice, counseling, or research capacity within the past four years. At least 51% of the 60 CEU’s for recertification must be directly related to Addictions Nursing.

- If your original Deadline was June 30TH 2020, it is now:
December 31ST, 2020
- If your original Deadline was Dec 31ST 2020, it is now:
June 30TH, 2021
Late Submission:
There is a 3-month LATE PERIOD following the certification deadline (See Timeline Chart). Applications postmarked during the late period will only be accepted with a Late Period Fee (See Exam Fee). Applications postmarked after the Late Period with not be accepted.
Recertification:
Four (4) years from the date of passing the exam.
