Requirements:

Current licensure as LPN/LVN and one year of experience as LPN/LVN in urology nursing practice.

Fees:

$250 – SUNA Members.

$325 – Non-Members.

Special 1st-time retake fee: $195 – SUNA Members; $270 – Non-Members
Late Fees:

$25 for applications postmarked after the deadline.

Re-certification:

* Current license as an RN in the United States, its territories, or Canada.
* Minimum of 2 years of plastic surgical nursing experience as an RN.
* Spend at least 50% of practice hours in plastic surgical nursing during 2 of the preceding 5 years.
* Be in compliance with state regulations of the practice of hemodialysis patient-care technicians, if applicable. Applicants must meet the experience requirement (for certification) of the state in which they practice.
